I offer portrait sessions both on location and at home. I think it’s just as beautiful capturing my families out at a stunning location or in their own surrounds at home.
These portrait sessions generally last around 1.5/2 hours.
Investment $900
This includes the session itself, an online gallery and all high resolution images (professionally edited by Jemma) to keep & print from.
Studio Sessions
My studio is a warm, light filled space to come and enjoy some pictures with your family. It is a perfect setting for gorgeous classic portraits, especially perfect for maternity, newborns & young babes.
My studio sessions last around 1 hour and are designed to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed.
The studio is located in Albany, Western Australia (about 4.5 hrs drive south from Perth).

FAQs
Where are you based?
I live in the Deep South of Western Australia, however my work takes me around the state, the country and internationally.
I don’t charge a travel fee for sessions in Perth or the South West. If you aren’t in this area and interested in my work, please get in touch for a travel estimate.
Are you a film photographer or digital?
I shoot both! I use a combination of both mediums.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use both film and digital equipment. Contax 645 (medium format) and Canon 35mm film bodies. Canon digital bodies, with prime lenses. I also always carry back-up equipment.
We are a bit nervous in photos! Will you give us any guidance?
I can totally relate! Don’t worry everyone gets a little nervous!! I like to incorporate a mixture of gentle direction & then see what natural moment unfold. Ultimately it’s about capturing you guys, so usually this direction will be something simple - just to make you feel relaxed and capture a genuine moment together.
On booking, I will also send you my handy tips/advice for your session.
I’m not sure how our kiddo(s) will go in the photographs!
Don’t worry I am a mum of two crazy (but beautiful!) boys!! I know kids are just kids and sometimes we have to cross our fingers & hope for the best. It definitely helps if everyone is well slept & fed and we make sure that the shoot time isn’t scheduled during/close to a nap time. I encourage all my families to bring along snacks just incase we need to stop along the way for a break. Being a parent I know a little ‘special treat’ bribery can go a long way, however sometimes it is good to savour these until towards the end of the session, so we don’t have a sugar crazed kiddo!

When is the best time to do our newborn session?
The most ideal time to photograph your new precious babe is when they are around 5-14 days old. Usually they are still quite sleepy & very happy to snuggle up for some beautiful photographs.

How long till we can view our photographs?
Post production takes approximately 5-8 weeks, the warmer months are often quite busy with lots of portraits & weddings. In saying that if you are needing a photograph sooner for an announcement (newborn etc.) then that can easily be arranged. When your gallery is ready to view, I will contact you will the details.
